2011 Storage Magazine's Deduplication Product of the Year

CommVault’s Simpana 9 software has been named the winner of the Deduplication Product of the Year in Storage Magazine’s 2011 Storage Awards (Storries VIII). The Storage Awards recognize outstanding products, services and people as judged by Storage Magazine readers. This year’s awards saw a record-breaking 6,500 readers vote and over 32,000 votes cast. CommVault Simpana 9 was recognized for its ability to “write backup and archive data to cloud storage in a deduplication format, which reduces the cost of storing data in the cloud.”

2011 Windows IT Pro Editors' Best Backup Software Product – Silver

CommVault Simpana software has been awarded the Editor's Best Backup Software Product Silver Award by Windows IT Pro for 2011. The Editors' Best awards are given to products that Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine editors believe are the best of breed products in their respective categories. Microsoft Best of Tech·Ed 2011 Backup and Recovery Award

Law Technology News Technology Awards 2009

In 2009, the editors of Law Technology News asked the publication's more than 40,000 subscribers to identify products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 25 categories for its seventh annual awards program. The awards, selected based on subscriber online voting, will be presented at LegalTech New York on February 1, 2010. In 2009, CommVault partner the Cleveland Indians (MLB) established an advanced video capture and archiving platform to serve at-bat video clips of nearly 2,600 games per year via touch-screen systems, expanding the system to its spring training facility, while upgrading its datacenter and adding a disaster recovery site, leveraging technology from CommVault and other top technologies.
