2009 Storage Magazine Product of the Year - Backup and Disaster Recovery Software and Services
CommVault's Simpana software was awarded the Storage Magazine Product of the Year for 2009 in the backup and disaster recovery software and services category, as judged by a panel of users, industry analysts, consultants, as well as the Storage magazine-SearchStorage.com editorial staff. CommVault's Simpana software was recognized for advanced block-level data deduplication and the global approach taken by CommVault to build deduplication capabilities into both the backup and archiving process. According to the judges, Simpana software stood out for its functionality, value, performance, innovation, ease of use and integration.

Law Technology News Technology Awards 2009
In 2009, the editors of Law Technology News asked the publication's more than 40,000 subscribers to identify products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 25 categories for its seventh annual awards program. The awards, selected based on subscriber online voting, will be presented at LegalTech New York on February 1, 2010. . Information on the awards and winners will be featured in the March 2010 issue of Law Technology News and on the magazine's Web site at www.lawtechnologynews.com.

IDG's 2009 InfoWorld 100 Award
Every year, the InfoWorld 100 Awards celebrate 100 IT organizations that have implemented and integrated technologies in innovative ways in pursuit of concrete business goals. These 100 real-world projects stand as proof that striking a new path in IT can reap deep organizational rewards. Companies around the world rely on technology to enable and enhance their business operations and deliver on their business strategies. The InfoWorld 100 Awards recognize each year the 100 most innovative use of IT initiatives to further business goals.

In 2009, CommVault partner the Cleveland Indians (MLB) established an advanced video capture and archiving platform to serve at-bat video clips of nearly 2,600 games per year via touch-screen systems, expanding the system to its spring training facility, while upgrading its datacenter and adding a disaster recovery site, leveraging technology from CommVault and other top technologies.

Windows IT Pro Community Choice Award
The Windows IT Pro Community Choice awards program allows publication readers to decide which products and services are chosen for acclaim and recognition. Rather than presenting a predefined list of products and services that limited the selection to choices from the editorial team, the award lets the readers determine the products and services that were worthy of inclusion in the final voting phase. In 2009, CommVault won a Bronze Windows IT Pro Community Choice Award, for Simpana 8 Software.

Storage Networking World (SNW) Spring 2009
Storage Networking World (SNW), in conjunction with Computerworld and the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), seeks IT user-organization case study submissions for its "Best Practices in Storage" Awards Program. Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per IT end-user/organization are annually considered. In March 2009, CommVault customer Herbalife was named a finalist.

Datamation 2009 Product of the Year Winner
Datamation has a long tradition of recognizing and honoring the best IT product vendors through its Product of the Year Awards. For the winners, these annual awards are a mark of distinction and a symbol of achievement in a crowded, highly competitive marketplace.

In 2009, CommVault's Director of North American Channels Mark Conley was selected as a CRN Channel Chief.
