New partner program aims to empower vendors to deliver data protection and snapshot management capabilities

Data protection company, CommVault, has launched its new IntelliSnap Connect Program — an open development program that enables disk array vendors to integrate their array-based snapshot solutions with the SnapProtect module in CommVault Simpana software.

The new partner program will help vendors deliver data protection and snapshot management capabilities. The availability of the program means CommVault now has a comprehensive compatibility matrix for hardware snapshot management, without custom scripting or solution modification.
