NetApp and CommVault on Tuesday announced that NetApp will integrate components of CommVault's Simpana 9 into the NetApp Snapshot and SnapProtect products.

The OEM agreement will allow NetApp to offer a packaging under the SnapProtect software brand that incorporates Simpana snapshot, replication and tape management software. All will be bundled under a single license based on the number of processors in NetApp filers.
