CommVault Positioned as an Industry Challenger in Gartner's Enterprise Information Archiving Magic Quadrant

Gartner has released its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving and we believe it represents a milestone achievement for CommVault.

What's noteworthy about this year's analysis is that it examines archiving from a much broader perspective, as opposed to being focused exclusively on e-mail data as in years past.

Here at CommVault, we believe our placement in the Challengers' quadrant is a testament to Simpana software's unique blend of solution-oriented capabilities, very strong engineering heritage and overall product strategy which is focused on pushing the boundaries of common archive thinking. This was certainly the mantra of Simpana 8 that we believe prompted our placement in this current Magic Quadrant. Now with the launch and availability of Simpana 9, we've raised the bar yet again to deliver real world archiving solutions that are both visionary and deliver outstanding return on investment.
